Kurzfassung englisch:
This paper is about research currently carried out in the FP7 European project D-Rail which is dedicated to reduce the frequency and the impact of cargo derailments. In the project the data exchange between different stakeholders and data users is designed in a generic way. Generally all available data has one of the three following types: single value, vector or matrix. All this data can be more or less for trend analysis depending on the monitoring target and the evaluation done by the suppliers or system users. For a cross border use of all this data it is necessary to explain third parties how to interpret the data in terms of evaluation algorithms. Finally our proposal is to have three classes of data types including already processed data, evaluated data and raw data.
