Kurzfassung englisch:
This article is about the demand analysis for wayside train
monitoring systems based upon the accident data base of a
railway infrastructure manager. Special attention is given to
the check of clearance profile as an example of wayside train
monitoring systems. For this kind of devices the
requirements are explained in a detailed level. Finally some
results from an outside application installed at RFI are shown
to demonstrate how accurate the measurements can be.
