Kurzfassung englisch:
Enhanced insulation thicknesses and the improvement of the air tightness of building envelopes increased the risk of potential moisture problems in flat roof constructions. Standardized risk assessment of constructions only accounts for diffusion of water vapour into the construction. In the paper results of two-years of measurements on flat roofs and the validation of 2D-HAM simulations are presented. It is shown, that depending on the usage of the building, the risk of failure is dominated by convection of air and solar radiation. Based upon the validated simulation model a possible improvement of the standardized method for moisture performance assessment (ISO 13788) is investigated
